Trademark for the name ‘Snap Attack’ filed by Microsoft
Microsoft has registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the name of its latest game software called “Snap Attack”. This is the second application for trademark filed by Microsoft within a gap of 2 months.
This news was reported by GameSpot and states that Microsoft filed the application for the trademark on April 3, 2014. Other than the reports that the title is related to an “online computer game,” it did not include any elaborates on the trademarked item. Earlier in March 2014, Microsoft had filed an application to trademark ‘Secrets and Treasure’, another game that has not been officially announced so far.
However, Microsoft is promising an E3 presentation mainly focused on the game, so it is most likely that these details regarding these trademark titles could come up at the conference. Apart from the likelihood of the new games announced, Microsoft has also been looking forward about the concept of an Xbox 360 emulator on Xbox One.
