Will there be any additional fees later on?
The fee to be paid by a person to the Japanese Patent Office include the registration fee to be paid at the beginning for trademark registration, and then the renewal fee to be paid at the end of completion of 10 years after registration.
If in any case the Trademark Comprehensive Study is not conducted properly at the time of registration, there is a chance that the registration will be cancelled on raising of any objection by a third party. If any such objection arise, you will have to pay an additional fee for re-registering the trademark.
So other than the fee incurred in case an objection arises on your registration of Trademark, there will be no other extra charges involved.
